Thirty years of glass, one family.
Transparent Overseas was founded in 1996 in Firozabad. Today we are one of nine companies in the Transparent Group — covering glass melting, decoration, bottles, ceramics and packaging.
From a single furnace to 1,000 tonnes a day.
Transparent Overseas was established in 1996 in Firozabad — India's glass city —, and became the first major exporter of glass handicrafts from the region. We started from scratch: one furnace, a handful of craftsmen and our first containers of hand-blown candle holders for European importers.
Three decades on, the Transparent Group runs nine companies across handcrafted glassware, amber, green and flint glass bottles, cosmetic and pharma containers, plastics and building glass — together melting more than 1,000 metric tonnes of glass every day. Transparent Overseas remains the group's design-led export arm: ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certified, socially audited every year, with an in-house design studio, our own decoration lines and a 50,000 sq ft showroom in Noida where buyers see the entire range in one visit.
What has not changed is how a piece begins — a gather of molten glass on a pipe, shaped by hand. What has changed is everything around it: the systems, the scale and the retailers we serve across the USA, UK, Europe and Australia.
Firozabad — the glass cityNine companies. One supply chain.
Handcrafted glass, bottles, cosmetic and pharma containers, plastics and building glass — together over 1,000 MT of glass a day.
